Attendance & Withdrawal Policy
In an effort to maximize our time with each student, Lonestar Dance must insist that tardiness and excessive absences will not be tolerated. In the event of an absence, the student will be allowed to make that class up in any other class of the same discipline within that paid month.
Additionally, any student that will be withdrawn from Lonestar Dance must submit a 30-day written notice to avoid being responsible for the following months tuition. In this event, all recital and contest fees paid to that time will be non-refundable.
Parent Observation Policy
Please remember the observation policy. The viewing of classes is permitted the first week of each month. We assure you that by allowing this, your child will be more capable of focusing on his/her dance classes. Focus in class is important to ensure that the lesson is learned in a confident and capable way. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
Parents are welcome to video tape class and take pictures during observation weeks.
Tuition
I understand that tuition is due by the first of each month. If tuition is not received by the 5th of each month, I will be charged a $15.00 late fee. Students that are one month late on tuition will not be allowed to attend class. I understand there are no refunds on tuition, costume fees, and recital fees or any other purchases made from Lonestar Dance.
Costume Policy
Once paid costume fees are non-refundable. In the event that a student drops the class or volunteers to become a non-performer, the costume becomes the property of Lonestar Dance. The faculty and staff spend much time and consideration ordering after measuring students for costumes. Please be advised that should a costume not fit a student, it is not the responsibility of Lonestar Dance to alter that costume. You may contact our staff to inquire as to whether the costume could be returned and replaced by the costume companies in a timely matter. If not, it is solely the responsibility of the student and/or parent to take care of the alterations.
